Some home-educated children had raised they felt their voice had not been heard or represented around the Children's Wellbeing and Schools Bill.

Some children had tried contacting the children's commissioner themselves, but were not sure she got their correspondence as they did not get a reply, and her public statements on the bill did not match their views.
